A už sa valí. Neúprosná veľká voda napĺňa dávno neobmyté, zarastené korytá riek a berie zo sebou všetko, čo sa jej postaví do cesty – mosty, cesty, domy, ľudí… Pocit strachu a neistoty sa rozlieha po krajine. Ten, kto povodeň zažil, si vie predstaviť hrôzu, ktorá ju sprevádza.
Na obyvateľoch jednej zo zasiahnutých dedín, ktorí sa ocitli zoči-voči prívalovej vlne absolútne nepripravení, vidieť bezmocnosť. Vôbec to nečakali, veď v ich dedine si na povodne nespomínajú ani tí najväčší pamätníci.
