Příspěvek ukazuje na úzký vztah mezi Vavrouškovými „hodnotami slučitelnými s trvale udržitelným způsobem života“ a hodnotami, jimž učí Ježíš. Odtud přechází k modelovému negativnímu a pozitivnímu přístupu k světu, přičemž součástí druhého z nich je vertikální rozměr života zdůrazňovaný V. Havlem. V závěru vyústí v malé vánoční zamyšlení nad hodnotami.
