The Living Rainforest, a UK-based charity, has announced its 2014 global essay competition for schoolchildren. The initiative invites schoolchildren in two entry categories – primary (age 7-11) and secondary (age 11-17) – to outline their ideas for ‘sustainable living’ and the steps needed for societies to achieve them. The winning students will be awarded trophies at the International Schools Debate and their essays will be published on the competition website.
The deadline for submissions is February 10. For full details visit: http://www.livingrainforest.org/explore/schools-debate/Downloads
