The Environment from a Biblical perspective

The interest in the environment among most Christian denominations developed in a somewhat divergent way at first. Referring to various passages in the Bible the article shows that the Bible takes a lead on environmental responsibility. It emphasizes that Christians must engage to work towards good, while the environment is – in a Christian understanding – already a part of God's good work of creation.
