A statement by faculty members from the Department of Pre-primary and Primary Education and the Department of Biology and Environmental Studies at the Faculty of Education, Charles University, in response to current efforts to curtail this important aspect of the educational process. The letter was approved by the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Education, Charles University, at its meeting on March 10, 2026. The letter may be signed by individuals and institutions that agree with its content.
